OPENING OF ST DUNSTAN’S CHURCH FOR MASS
From Monday 6th July St Dunstan’s will be open for those who wish to come to Mass. This will, in many ways, be a very different experience from before the Coronavirus Lockdown. While all that you are about to read may seem quite daunting and, possibly, off-putting please do remember, in the words of the Archbishops, that “none of this detracts from the centrality of our encounter with the Risen Christ in the Eucharist”. The Archbishops go on to say, “We ask everyone to respect and follow the guidance that (has been) issued and the instructions in each church”.
Practical Points
There are several points that we would like to emphasise before describing for you some of the changes in the actual celebration of Mass. In all of this we are following advice from the Diocese which in turn has come from the Archbishops of England and Wales.
Please see the Newsletter 4th/5th July for full details.
