Parish Finances
Given that parishioners are sadly unable to attend mass currently, those of you who normally donate by way of the offertory basket collection or by Gift Aid envelopes, will be unable to do so in this way for some time to come. In order to keep parish finances in good health, we are offering parishioners several options to continue regular giving.
Ways to Give
There is now a new DONATE option available to parishioners, set up by our diocese, whereby you can make one-off, occasional or regular donations to our parish. When making your donation, please make sure to leave a message which includes the following: “I would like my donation to go to St Dunstans Woking“. This will ensure your donation is given to our parish. GiftAid helps our parish to thrive. Please GiftAid your donation, if you are eligible. You will be asked whether you would like to share your details with the diocese. Telling us who you are really helps, as it means the diocese can share details of your donation with us.
The link to this new donate option is below.
Donations can also be made by you direct, through your bank, with the payee details being RCD A&B ST DUNSTANS WOKING., Sort Code 40-05-20, Account Number 41077325.
If you are already a GiftAid donor, please also reference your six-digit GiftAid donor number.
You may also like to consider joining the parish Gift Aid scheme, which enables the parish to receive an additional 25% in tax for all the monies donated by taxpayers.
Please see the GiftAid section below for further details.
Existing GiftAid donors who donate by Standing Order may wish to consider increasing the sum that they donate at this time. To do this simply notify your bank of any change and then please send our Parish GiftAid Organiser, Ian White, whose contact details are in the GiftAid section below, written confirmation of the new sum and the date from which the change starts.
Likewise, existing GiftAid donors who donate by envelope may wish to use the Standing Order option as a means of continuing to donate over the coming months.
To do this, please use the link to the downloadable Standing Order form below, complete and sign the form and then return to the parish office.
